Crows is the new EP by British keyboard player and producer Sebastian Reynolds, due on 9th July 2021 on producer Capitol K’s label Faith & Industry. Crows follows the previous Sebastian Reynolds EPs Nihilism is Pointless (January 2021) and The Universe Remembers (May 2020).

Crows EP opens with a Prelude, a swooning, shuffling tune led by a beautiful performance by clarinet player Rachel Coombes accompanied by synths by Sebastian and drums by Greig Stewart. The lead track is a barnstorming, acid electro banger produced and performed by Sebastian and also featuring Greig thumping the tubs. Featuring Sebastian’s explosive keyboard playing and pulsing drones, Crows is a techno monster that recalls the wilder moments of his old band Keyboard Choir. Crows EP is completed by two exclusive remixes from Thai producer Pradit Saegkrai and UK music maker L’Étranger.

Previous Sebastian Reynolds releases include the collaborative records with Anne Müller (Erased Tapes) and Alex Stolze (Bodi Bill), Solo Collective Part 1, released via Nonostar Records in November 2017 and Solo Collective Part 2, released via Nonostar in June 2019. Sebastian has also released two EPs from the Thai project Mahajanaka Dance Drama, Mahajanaka in April 2017 via Nonostar and Maṇīmekhalā in October 2019 via PinDrop. Sebastian’s projects have had glowing critical acclaim from across the media and received airtime across the BBC and far beyond. Sebastian continues to work on commissions for Neon Dance, whose work that he scored, Puzzle Creature, has completed two tours to Japan and across the UK.

Key support on previous EP: airplay from Gideon Coe, Tom Ravenscroft, Steve Lamacq on 6Music, and Late Junction and Unclassified on BBC Radio3.
